Aaron Head crafts sculptures and short films that are inspired by or feature his immediate and everyday environment. His work explores the intricate social role of food in contemporary, multicultural Britain. Bread houses, semi-detached suburban bird boxes and landscapes moulded from teabags are just some of the quirky items that feature in this new body of work. Alongside short films and sculptures, Aaron will be installing a working kitchen and garden into the gallery, occasionally inhabiting these domestic arenas and cooking up some of his favourite food.
