To coincide with Bedford’s River Festival 2004, BCA Gallery showed liquid light; an exhibition of photography and video by artists who all use water as the subject of their work. Following an open call to professional artists, these six local, regional and national practitioners were chosen to be included in the exhibition. What linked the work was a fascination with the effects of water and light; its reflections, distortions and patterning.
