The Moving Picture Show

The Moving Picture Show featured work by a diverse range of emerging, creative talents currently working within the field of animation and film. One of the artists featured in the show is a regional artist, Alex Pearl, who produces short films featuring objects that he has either reworked or constructed with found materials such as ping-pong balls and lollipop sticks. His short films are both humorous and sad and incredibly addictive. The Moving Picture Show was full of variety, whilst celebrating the exciting range of work being produced by this new wave of talent.

Some of the artworks in The Moving Picture Show could be seen in our additional, temporary premises on Mill Street which was open throughout August.
