Faye Claridge creates intriguing work; join this talk to find out more as she takes you on a tour of the exhibition and then enjoy a light supper.
Edgar Martins creates sublimely beautiful views of often un-beautiful sites. Hear him talk about his work and his new book, Topologies.
Alex Pearl is one of BCA's residency artists. He will exhibit his new work in Spring 2009; until then he wants you to join him in taking part in the Black Flag Game.
The Black Flag Game revives the moment when Captain Scott, the Antarctic Explorer reached the South Pole only to be met by Roald Amundsen's black flags. The rules are simple. Take one of Alex's black flags, go somewhere and as long as there are no other flags in sight, plant it and claim it as your discovery! To take part or for more information contact alexpearl@lineone.net or visit http://blackflaggame.blogspot.com
Join us to celebrate the opening of this intriguing new exhibition, from 2-4pm. Everybody is welcome and there will be light refreshments available.

Throughout Faye Claridge's exhibition, be inspired and recreate the poses of her subjects. Children will be able to dress up in the available costumes before a painted backdrop. A photograph can be taken as a memento, which we are happy to post to you, although there is a small charge of £3.50 to cover printing and postage costs.
Open call to everyone local… As part of the ‘Portrait of Bedford’ project, BCA requests that people living in Bedford contribute images that tell a story of their fellow Bedfordians, for display in BCA Gallery.
